I tried to install hotelcommerce but getting "An error occurred during installation..." and stop at install demonstration data.

What type of error do you get on installation
Some basic error you can solve by changing in php.ini fileIncrease variables values ,
max_execution_time = 500
upload_max_filesize = 16M in your php.ini file and restart your server once. -

I am experiencing this same issue installing on IIS, I cannot make it pas the Install demonstration data part.

@Faiz Hi, I have same problem too. I changed xml document as you recommended. I finished in 56% again. To be honest - my max_execution_time = 160 seconds. Is it problem or something else? Thanks in advance.
