      Let me give you a complete overview of how Room Types work in QloApps.
      At the backend:
      We create Room Types by clicking on Catalog Tab--> Manage Room Type--> Add New Product.
      While creating the room type, on the configuration page we enter the maximum number of adults and children that can be accommodated in that room type and then we add rooms to this room type. The admin can add any number of rooms to this room type.

      Now at the front end when a guest tries to make a booking, he books the room, not the room type. So the quantity available for the booking is the number of rooms which admin has added in that particular room type.

      So multiple rooms can be booked in a date range.

      If you want to book one room at a time then just select the date range and make the booking and if you want to book a room in a different range then select the date range again and make the booking.

      Yes, this issue is on our top priorities to resolve.
      This issue only comes when two users book the room at the same time which is a rare incidence.
      Although we check the inventory at each step before the Payment. But from the payment step, there is no check. So if two users go to payment step at the same time this issue arises.
      The reason behind no inventory check from the payment step is that many times user cancels the payment or payment does not get completed due to any reason. If we block the cart for some time for this user and then this user does not complete the booking then a genuine user will get refrained from making a booking.
      So we are searching for a sophisticated solution to this issue. And it is in our roadmap. We will surely inform you once we have resolved the issue.

      @strangisgroup When we make a search in Qloapps the search page shows the room types which the hotel has. A particular room type can have many rooms under it.
      For an example, a hotel can have 10 General Rooms. Hence a room type will be available for booking until all the rooms of that room type are booked.

      The interaction of the Hotelier is very simple with QloApps. QloApps launches their website and enables them to take and manage online bookings.
      In the process of hotel booking, the client is not redirected to any other platform or OTA.
      QloApps is an independent platform and is sufficient for the hotel booking process and it does not integrate with any other platforms hence if you already have a website then integrating QloApps with it will not be an option.
      What you can do is, you can install QloApps on the subdomain and put a " Book Now" button on your website. When a client clicks the " Book Now" button he will be redirected to QloApps and there he can complete his booking.

    • Error during Installation: All parts of a PRIMARY KEY must be NOT NULL; if you need NULL in a key, use UNIQUE instead error SQL has happened

      Sometimes this error comes during installation.
      This is mainly because of the incompatibility MySQL version with QloApps.
      MySQL versions below 5.7 are compatible with QloApps.
      So this error comes at MySQL version 5.7 so we recommend you to use a lower version of MySQL like 5.6 or 5.5

      This line is for our QloApps add-ons and services like QloApps Marketplace, Qlo channel manager and all others.

      For QloApps Hotel Reservation system,
      The software comes under the open-source license. You can modify it or customize it in accordance with your need. But you will have to release your modification as open-source in order to give it back to the community.

      Yes, this function is in our future plans. But right now, QloApps do not support hourly booking. Although it is in our roadmap and we will bring this feature in QloApps but it will take a significant amount of time.
