Change site URL

Hello,
I have QLO running behind a letsencrypt+nginx combo docker. The nginx server is acting as a reverse proxy server providing ssl with my letsencrypt certs.
The problem I am having is that images I have uploaded to QLO are only loading locally, when outside of the LAN they don't seem to load. In the admin portal I see the site URL listed as my internal private IP. Is there a way to change this? It appears that the images that are not displaying are targeting the private IP and not the external domain.
