Error to try send email

Hi @Lnopy14,
As per the screenshot that you have shared with us, we can see that you are currently using the PHP mail function to send and receive emails.
The PHP mail function does not work properly in some scenarios.
Therefore we highly recommend you use the SMTP method for sending and receiving emails.

Hi @Deeksha-Rana, thank you very much for your answer.
I already managed to solve it as you mentioned.
I was testing just like that and was able to get it to work, thanks again.
I configured the necessary data for SMTP and there it already sent me the test email. Now I have to continue exploring the platform and see when other emails are sent and see how much I can customize everything.
Thank you again my partner.

@Lnopy14 Hi, if I may ask, which server do you use? I use AWS, but SMTP settings have completely failed to work.
-
Hi @Mimperio,
We at QloApps are using the AWS server internally for QloApps and we have many clients who are using the AWS server for QloApps and the SMTP is working well for us.
The SMTP works well with other servers as well and our clients do not face any issues.
Therefore, If you are unable to use SMTP in QloApps, then we request you contact your mail server provider regarding this issue.

@Deeksha-Rana, I asked @Lnopy14, not you. I wasn't able to get much help from your team regarding email servers.

Hi @Mimperio, sorry for the delay in responding but I'm working on some issues in production. Regarding your question, I have the site set up on a VPS with AlmaLinux and it is pointing to a mail server that is on a provider called Siteground (sorry if those things can't be mentioned here). I took the configurations that I have established for my email accounts and based on that I made the adjustments in the QloApps admin, I tried and I solved it. I don't know if this answers your question or if you need something more specific, in any case I will be attentive in case I can help you.

@Lnopy14 Thanks. AWS comes with default restrictions for outbound connections. I had to send in special requests to remove those restrictions.
Thanks again. -
@Lnopy14 HI, sorry to ask again, which VPS vendor are you using? I am still trying to look into an optimized VPS.

I'm currently experiencing an issue with sending and receiving emails in QloApps, and I'm reaching out to the community for any assistance you might be able to provide. If anyone has encountered a similar problem or has tips on how to resolve this error, your insights would be greatly appreciated.

The issue is already addressed in the current thread.
Please check of your mail settings,
You might be using the default PHP mail to send emails which does not work properly in some scenarios.
We suggest you to please use SMTP method for sending emails. To check and update Mail settings,
Log in to the QloApps back office > Advanced Parameters > E-mail tab.In this tab you can use update SMTP server details to use SMTP instead of PHP mail for sending email.
After saving the details, you can try out to send a test email as well.

Double-check your SMTP settings, including the server, port, username, and password, under the email configuration section. Ensure that the SMTP server supports the protocol you're using (e.g., SSL/TLS). If the issue persists, check your hosting provider's restrictions on outgoing emails or enable debugging to get more details about the error. Let me know if you need further guidance!
