      Hi CS
I want to tey to use qlo to manage my holdiay cottages. Take Mourne Hikers Cottage for example - it has a maximum occupancy of 4 persons (but these must be in a single booking/group). Can I charge one price for 2 person let, and add an uplift for a 3rd and 4th person?

      If not,

      • Can I create three "room types", say 2 person room, 3 person room and 4 person room, and
      • If I synch all 3 room types back to same Google Calendar, will that block availability of all room types, once one room type is actually booked? (The problem I am tyring to resolve is the simultaneous booking of the same property by two customers (one seeking to accommodate, say 2 persons and the other for 3 persons)

      Any other wrok arounds?
      Thanks, James

You can indeed use QloApps to manage your holiday cottages with specific pricing strategies. Here’s how you can address your queries:

Pricing Structure: QloApps does not natively support incremental pricing based on the number of guests within a single booking. You might need to use a workaround, such as creating different rates for different occupancy levels and informing guests about the extra charges for additional persons.

Room Types and Calendar Sync: Creating separate room types (e.g., 2-person, 3-person, 4-person) and syncing them to a single Google Calendar is a viable solution. When one room type is booked, it should block availability for that property across all room types, preventing double bookings.

For additional workarounds, consider using advanced booking management tools or custom development to better handle complex pricing and availability scenarios.
